ALBUMS

Taylor Swift‘s fantastic evermore vaults from No. 74 to No. 1 this week, the largest jump to the summit the Billboard 200 has seen since Radiohead’s In Rainbows. It moves 202,000 SPS this week, up more than 1,000% since last week, helping to push it barely past 600,000 pure sales. The record benefits from the release of vinyl copies, where it smashes Nielsen’s all-time vinyl first week with 102,000 units. Swift, the shrewd businesswoman that she is, also released digitally signed mp3 copies for the occasion, sending digital copies up over 1,000% this week as well. Those releases also spill over to the “sister” album, folklore, which lifts 21% to 17,000 SPS and likewise surges No. 50 to No. 34.

Last week’s ruler, Olivia Rodrigo‘s SOUR, slides to No. 2 on the chart with a still massive haul of 186,000 SPS, down only 37% from its debut. It should cross 1M SPS next week.

Dua Lipa‘s Future Nostalgia moves from No. 7 to No. 6 with 34,000 SPS units (down about 2%).

Justin Bieber‘s Justice departs the Top 10 from No. 9 to No. 11 with 29,000 SPS units (down 7%).

The Weeknd‘s The Highlights jumps No. 58 to No. 26, up 44%. Because of the way Nielsen tabulates activity, it crosses a massive 8M this week.

Good News from Megan Thee Stallion crosses 1.25M activity this week, with 16,000 SPS in its 28th week (down 10%). It also crosses 40,000 pure sales this week.

At No. 57, Taylor Swift‘s fearless (Taylor’s Version) crosses 500,000 total SPS, with 13,000 this week (down 11%). Lover crosses a higher milestone of 3.3M SPS this week, just 8 spots away at No. 65.

P!nk‘s first live album All I Know So Far: Setlist drops No. 13 to No. 67 (12,000 SPS units, down 58%).

Following a silver vinyl LP release, Paramore‘s Riot! re-enters the chart at No. 69 with around 11,000 SPS (7,000 from album sales). That album, as mentioned last week, saw its defining single “Misery Business” soar as a result of comparisons drawn from Olivia Rodrigo‘s “good 4 u.”

Lady Gaga‘s The Fame re-enters at No. 171 with 7,000 SPS (up less than 1%).

Tame Impala‘s The Slow Rush crosses 175,000 pure sales this week.

SINGLES

BTS‘ “Butter” remains atop both the Hot 100 and Hot Digital Songs this week with 137,000 downloads. Its second week is larger than any other song’s sales week this year. “Stigma” meanwhile debuts at No. 22 with 4,000 downloads.

“Good For You,” the former chart-topper from Olivia Rodrigo, holds at No. 3 with 12,000 downloads (37,000 to date).

“You,” the Regard and Troye Sivan collaboration and not the hit Netflix show, swells No. 91 to No. 57, up 23%. It stands at 12,000 downloads to date.

Completely overshadowed by “Levitating,” Dua Lipa‘s (still a) single “We’re Good” crosses 50,000 downloads this week.

The Killers‘ “Mr. Brightside” clocks in at No. 62 with 2,000 downloads (down 5%). It stands at 3,875,000 to date.

After one day of tracking, Billie Eilish‘s new song “Lost Cause” starts at No. 77.

The should have been song of the year “Telepatia” from Kali Uchis crosses 20,000 downloads this week (No. 99 this week).

The late Juice WRLD‘s signature hit “Lucid Dreams” re-enters at No. 120, it will cross 500,000 downloads this coming week.

Ariana Grande‘s “pov” re-enters at No. 173, it stands at 25,000 downloads to date.

Stay tuned for next week’s post, covering new releases like Japanese Breakfast‘s Jubilee, on Tuesday, June 15th!
